My Journey to These Ancient Practices

When I first discovered the transformative power of both Kundalini and Tantra yoga, I knew I had to share these practices with others. These traditions have brought profound balance, energy, and awareness into my life, and I’ve designed these six introductory classes specifically for those curious about exploring these powerful yogic paths.

I love this picture of me hugging my daughter! I will never stop loving and sharing my love with others. I find this time in life to offer a wild ride for many of us. Being between generations and finding some level of generosity to myself is meaningful to me. I enjoy sharing this with others, as I find that all too often, women over 40 get lost in the shuffle and can be out of balance, whatever that looks like for you.

For me, I began practicing yoga when I was in my late 20s. I had been introduced to yoga at my small town school in East Tennessee. There was a person who brought Sunshine Yoga to our school. I did some of the moves, one of which, is in the final Tantra class. Yoga was meant for me and I was meant for it. I can’t think of another part of my life that has been more therapeutic, each and every day. It builds resilience to have a practice. You don’t. have to be traumatized to build resilience in your mind-body connection. You just need to have the time and a place to move. No yoga mat required!

I decided to expand with yoga as I was exposed to new modalities and practices. My teaching is a reflection of all the teachers I have had, as well as Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras.

So, I bring to you this yoga opportunity to redirect yourself to yoga practices now, in the spring, to refine your senses and prepare for the marathon energy match that happens throughout the summer. By honing your energy now, you can learn the practices of discernment, discipline, and breath work. These are bio-hacking strategies for longevity and self-efficacy in your longevity.
