I am so glad you are coming to this portal to explore the poses we have covered in this Winter Session with Cancer Lifeline. My aim is to use this space to house all of the videos for each week which include the poses that we have gone through.

I recommend that you do the poses 3 X each. This video is shorter than our class, so do ensure that you are properly warmed up. This is a concentrated session and I am hopeful you will reach out to me either by email: angela@beautifyfaceyoga.com or on Instagram, where I hang out in my DMs often: @beautifyfaceyoga.com. If you are so inclined, please fill out the feedback form at the button below:

For January 17 Session, these were the focus poses:

All about the eyes!

Eye Cream and hydrating with a spritz is a welcome activity in the dry season of winter.

For January 24 Session, these were the focus poses:

Hydrate and be well this Winter!

Lymphatic nodes that are influenced by inner mouth massage. Photo credit, NIH.

Buccinator muscle that we massaged last week. At the insertion point, you find a tense tight mass.

The tiny modalis muscle is the intersection and insertion point of so many other muscles of the cheeks. This muscle is very deserving of regular massage to release tension in the mouth and smile.

More lymphatic imaging. This is so helpful to see the sizes and how they can weave into our vascular and tissue systems.

Buccal and Modalis massage demo + more!

Great visual of lymphatic system and connections to the organs of the body.

Enjoy this recap of yesterday’s class! Here, we explore more about the lymph drainage, and all over toning poses!

CLL 2/14/24 Recap

I am so looking forward to tomorrow’s last class. Did you take photos of yourself at the beginning? Also, I don’t have a lot of time for editing, so I left in a call from my husband. Eeek!!! 😍😆

CLL 2/21/24 Recap

In today’s class, there was a request to learn about moisturizers for the eye that I like. I am sharing a few of my favorite. The top four companies, I have partnerships with. The others are just some of my favorites and go-to products for many years! Whatever you use, try to use clean brands. This is a great resource for clean skin product verification and how it works: https://www.ever-eden.com/blogs/journal/the-5-clean-beauty-certifications-to-know

I will share that many of the products below are noted as clean and holistic, even. However, may not be listed on one of the certifications at the link above. There is a partnership required to be certified, so don’t shy away from these clean products below! The top few are brands who I am an affiliate with. The others are brands that I have trusted for years!

True Science Eye Cream – a science-based clean and vegan skin line that shows promise for healing any potential skin issue.

Stacked Skincare – more of a potent skin refining brand. All vegan and gently created by an aesthetician to show results.

Blue Beautifly – This is the organization that is sold at the Cleveland Clinic Cancer Center. Really special holisitic simple ingredients which are so nourishing! Use code BEAUTIFY10 to receive 10% off.

Surrassa – This is another holistic line that is full of so many ingredients, because the founder and developer is has a research background in dermatologic response to cancer and more. She is a Phd researcher and amazing. Use code FaceYoga10 to receive 10% off.

ILIA – skincare and makeup that are made to perform with plant based support + proven synthetics that perform well on the skin. This is special to work with on the skin. Highly recommend this for anyone with sensitivities or concerns.

DHC Eye Cream – Amazing soft and supple cream absorbs beautifully. Rich and supple nourishment for the entire eye area.

Biossance Eye Creams – This may be the most expansive line of eye creams I have ever encountered. Each really spot on with absorption of squalene oils! Love these products.

It has been a distinct pleasure to connect with this core group. I will always hold a spot in my heart for each of you! Please reach out to me at angela@beautifyfaceyoga.com about anything. Also, if you are inclined, please share with the CLL team your kind thoughts about keeping this as a seasonal rotation.
