There has never been a better time to re-jigger your thoughts and goals about getting older and what lies ahead. As you change, so too, does everyone else around you. It could present a time to re-teach others how to treat you. You may also be emoboldened to love this kind of tasking. The tasking of shoring up old ways of being and letting go of them.

Start fresh!

Face the world with a fresh perspective, presentation, and way of being. Allocate time to invest in yourself to connect with your truest desires. You are so worth it and really matter to me. I learn from others and love supporting my community. You are no different. In this Beautify space, I serve women over 40 years and love helping you connect with your higher self as you navigate menopause. This can include a myriad of ways and products to get you to your next level self.

I share these things because I am of service in this way. It is my calling and what I am here to do. In learning so many wisdoms of Ayurveda, Yoga, and Face Yoga, I can’t help but share it. You need to know these things. It will make you feel better.

Listen in on the video above that I made to share a grouping of ideas with you about getting through this season of life with grace and aplomb. Sometimes it can be so murky. I have found that focusing on beautifying the world around you and to BE YOu can foster a sense of both belonging and connection. These two feelings can bring you home to your self:

BELONGING

& CONNECTION

When you feel as if you belong, you feel secure.

When you connect with yourself and others, you are grounded in this space in time.

Belonging and connection allows you to transcend the physical signs, symptoms, and mysteries of hormonal flux and dig into a new way of being. It is a time of transformation and like a butterfly, every transformation takes time and can be uncomfortable as you are shedding old ways of being.

Does this visual help you see just how fragile and vulnerable you can be during perimenopause –> menopause? I think because our identity is so wrapped up in what we have been for so many years: a woman in child-bearing years, we find ourselves in a time equal with the deep transformational time of adolescence. You know cognitively how tough this time was, right? It is the same for you now, gentle sister.

By readying yourself, read, meditate, and connect more deeply with yourself now. Your inner landscape is different than others’ and your path will be different than others. Collectively, we have a shift together, but each person’s experience is different. It is striking how different it is. Western medicine has done a decent job of getting us caught up with awareness about perimenopause. However the minutiae of your personal experience will not always be clear to your practitioner. This is why it can move along a lot more quickly in your mind if you become aware of your personal nature now and attune to things.

Don’t get tripped up about where you are now, just begin. Most of us are in the same boat. It’s a rarity that anyone gets through this era magically and without complaint. Even the over-achievers who read everything will have trouble managing emotions when those tiny hormones we can’t even see under a microscope guide and do so much inside our body to create this symphony of change toward becoming a mentor to others.
