In this podcast, you will find an observation that I have become deeply aware of over the past summer. In watching my children grown, I found my being, making, and doing to support their world includes my feeble attempt to adapt to climate change.

I notice in their creative immersion at this moment that they and their peers are the ones who will take the reigns soon enough to develop the systematic change needed worldwide to help modern cultures adapt to climate change.

This contemplation is one of another observation around the hoarding of wealth by our most innovative thought leaders. It is a logical human reaction to fear, so I do not judge them. They know not what they do. However, when I see senseless war, ego-centric politicians, and power-hungry business men striving to move us away from this planet, I shift my hope toward my kids’ generation. Greta Thunberg has been the most visible in recent years, but she leads many Gen Z kids to a global adaptation to climate change.

Learn how nature’s communication is rising through the natural beings of our kids. In our modern technological life that we often forget is that we are nature. Even this laptop I am writing this blog post on was created by materials manufactured from the earth’s elements.

I would love to learn your thoughts on human adaptation to climate change as we mimick the Paleolithic ancestors who also shifted their environment south after the melting of glaciers during the Ice Age. Like these early humans, we will need to shift our habitats. For us, we will move away from the equator north and south to find more habitable environments for humans.

Please, share your comments below! I think about climate change daily and wondering how you are coping as we continue moving forward into new phases of climate change development.
